Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRUCE HEAD, R.C.A. Painter and sculptor Bruce Head, R.C.A. (Royal Canadian Academy), died at the age of 78, on December 30, 2009. Private family cremation has taken place, but an open, public celebration of his life and work will be held on Wednesday, February 10, at 7:00 p.m., at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Remembrances by friends and family in the Muriel Richardson Auditorium will be followed by an informal reception in the gallery's main foyer, Eckhardt Hall. The WAG will also honour Bruce's life on this evening by showing selected works from its permanent collection in the Skylight Gallery.
