ROSALIE ANNE SUSMEL (nee BILLY) It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Rosalie on Friday, January 22, 2010, at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 71 years. Remaining to forever cherish Rosalie's memory are her two daughters, Deborah Geary (Mike) of Winnipeg, Lori Hildebrand (George) of Cartwright, MB; three grandsons Nick (Kara), Chris (Carla), Andrew; brother Steve Billy (Leah) in British Columbia; sister Carol Anne in Mexico; four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Zacharie, Ivy and Skyla. She was predeceased by her husband Ali Susmel, son Mark Bastien; mother Cecelia Androlick as well as her father Andrew Billy. She will be missed by so many. Mom worked at Revenue Canada for 30 years. During her career, she made many long time friends. She loved making small talk with everyone. Whether in line at a store or at the doctors' office Mom would start chatting and time would fly. Mom and Ali especially loved lunch at the Pony'. We were blessed to have Mom for the wonderful years that we did. She had amazing qualities: compassion, patience and love. She taught us how to laugh when things weren't going exactly as planned. And even to the end, Mom was a lady. A small, family ceremony will be held to honour her life in the spring. Special thank you to CancerCare Manitoba and Riverview Hospital for all you did for Mom. The staff on 3East was so caring and kind.
