Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL RICHARD GYSELINCK May 29, 1926 - January 20, 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Daniel Gyselinck. Daniel is survived by his devoted and loving wife Julie of 60 years, his children, Patricia (Gerry), Richard, Diane (Ward) and his grandchildren, Jonathan (Azra), Terence, Taylor, Tyler (Christine), Colin and Brett. Daniel was born in St. Vital in 1926 and there he met and married his wife Julie in 1949. Dan worked as a mechanic at River Brother's Garage on Corydon Avenue as he raised his family of three children. In 1965 Dan and Julie joined in the family greenhouse business on St. Mary's Road. Through hard work and dedication Riverside Greenhouses became a thriving family business. Dan was very proud and happy that Riverside is now in its fourth generation. Dan loved farming and spent countless content hours on his tractors. Summers were spent at Lake of The Woods fishing, and winters in Florida. Time spent with his family and grandchildren were the pleasures of his life. His easy, outgoing and confident personality led him to have numerous friends throughout his lifetime. People loved his company and laughter. Cremation has taken place and the family has celebrated his life. Dan, I'll always hold you in my heart. Dad and Papa we loved you so! As the flower grows it drops its seed to grow, and yes, Dad, we will remember to turn out the light.
