IRENE MINA MORRISON February 8, 1920 - January 27, 2010 God has called his most precious of earth angels home. Irene Morrison, our beloved Mom, Granny, Great-Granny, sister, aunt and dearest friend has joined the angel's chorus in heaven. Irene was predeceased by her husband Charles Smith Morrison. Left to cherish her memories are her four children Marilyn (Jim), Barb, Charles (Sherry) and Charlene (Peter); sister Isobel; brother Bill, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her many friends. Hearts touched by this magnificent lady could not remain unchanged. Mom loved deeply, freely, fully and shared her wisdom and gentle strength. Her love could be felt to the core of our being and we were blessed to be hers. Always, in all ways Mom was our joy in life and we will carry her essence for all times in our hearts and thoughts. No formal service will be held, there will be a private family gathering. Our thanks to the nurses and staff of Unit 7, 3rd floor and Unit 1, 5th floor of the Seven Oaks Hospital for all the care and compassion they have shown through our Mom's journey.
