Louis will be greatly missed by his three surviving sisters, Minnie, Helen and Rose. He will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law, Carrie, Grace and Elaine; and brother-in-law Ray. Also by his nieces and nephews here in Winnipeg and other parts of Canada and the United States. Louis was born in Bradwardine, Manitoba in 1929. He was the son of John and Michalena Steski, who were both born in Poland and came to Canada in the early 1900s. Louis had four brothers, Rudy, Victor, Frank and Gerald who predeceased him. Louis was employed as an Electrician at the Kapyong barracks. Louis took part in many sports such as golfing, curling and fishing. He loved gardening and spent many hours caring for his plants. He was also a member of the Church Lady of Perpetual Help and the Knights of Columbus. We appreciate the services of the nursing staff of the Victoria Hospital for their gentle care and kind words during Louis's illness. Our thoughts are with our family in Winnipeg at this time of sorrow. We remember with fondness the visits Uncle Lou made to our cottage at Tilden Lake, Ontario. They were good times that left us with great memories of him. Rest easy Uncle Lou, Elaine, Albert, Jennifer - Ottawa - Posted by: Albert Panazzolo (Family) on: Feb 01, 2010
