Later in his career, he worked at Canadian Pacific Railway until his retirement in 1988. Dad spent a big part of retirement watching his grandsons playing hockey in the winter, playing seniors baseball and lounging at his summer getaway in St. Malo with mom and his sidekick Pierre. Ellie and Dominique lived near by and spent a lot of time with dad, they gave him joy, companionship and care in these last few years when his health required him to need assistance. He took great joy spending time with his daughter and watching his granddaughter grow up. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and homecare workers for their care and kindness they gave to dad. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6.
