ALAN RICKY FRIESEN Alan Ricky Friesen, husband, father, and randfather passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on February 2, 2010, after a short battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 26 years Lori (nee Petkau); two sons: Kelvin and William (Priscilla), two daughters: Sarah (Andrew) and Susannah; two grand-children: Logan and Erica; one sister Irene Malone; mother-in-law Margaret Petkau; five brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his father Dietrich Friesen and father-in-law Jacob Petkau. Alan worked as a truck driver for Kelvin Kartage, Southgate Enterprises, and Sealy Canada. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Klassen Funeral Home, with viewing prior to the service. Rev. Peter Wiebe will officiate, and interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
