Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS EVA CLARE (nee FLOYD) June 16, 1930 - February 3, 2010 It is with broken hearts, we announce to you the passing of our Wife, Mom, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Phyllis on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Mom will be so very missed by the love of her life of 61 years Dennis; faithful puppy companion Sara; daughters Vicki (Norman) Ducharme, Kim (Cameron) Moffat; son Rick (Lorna) Clare; grandchildren Dennis (Jackie), Curtis (Stacy) Ducharme, Amy (Bill), Crystal (Jeremy) Bergthorson, Cody Moffat, Glenn Clare, Christopher Clare, Tammy (Chris); the lights of her life, great-grandchildren, Brittany, Braxton (my best friend) Alex, Natalie, (Gentle Ben) Benett, Faith, Dawson, Owen, Grace and (Little Ricky) Ryder, and by her extended grandsons Darren and Eric. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Teresa Marie. Mom was the last link to pass on of 12 children born to Annie and Harold Floyd. She loved to laugh and had the best sense of humour! She loved her Tuesday night bingo, pull tabs (only sold by Grace), her little trailer at the lake and the many road trips where she was game to go anywhere, anytime. Mom was always armed with a camera for her memories. She loved life and lived hers to the fullest. A memorial service in honour of Mom will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg Manitoba. A lunch with shared memories will then be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Woodlands Community Hall, Woodlands Manitoba. A private interment will be held at a later date. We would like to thank the nursing staff and homecare in the Stonewall Hospital for their endless caring for mom, in making her last wish to come home and be surrounded by her family and their love, a reality. Special thanks and love to Ellen Frank and Marie McRae for their dedication to mom and the caring they gave to her. We would like to thank friends for the visits, cards and support. To your family, you will always be our Special Angel xoxo
