JIM WALL On Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Riverview Health Centre, Jim Wall passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family and friends. To mourn his passing, Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Tannis (nee Millar), son Sean (Lisa), grandson Jake, best friend Dennis Roulston (Jackie) and many relatives and friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents and two brothers. Jim's positive attitude towards life was an inspiration to others and greatly assisted him in a long and valiant fight against pulmonary fibrosis. Jim spent many happy times during his retirement with his beloved grandson Jake, of whom he was very proud, and leaves cherished memories to be shared by family and friends. Jim proudly worked for Manitoba Hydro for 34 years, where he will be fondly remembered by many friends. Jim's family offers special thanks to the dedicated staff of floors Two East and Three East of Riverview Health Centre for the compassion and great care they provided to Jim over the years. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre or a charity of choice.
