JOSEPH LAURENT FERNAND JOYAL (FRED) June 22, 1925 - February 6, 2010 After a lengthy illness our father passed away on Saturday at the age of 84 surrounded by family. He was born and raised in The Pas, MB then later moved to Winnipeg. He leaves behind his very special friend and soulmate Linda, three daughters, Joan, Joyce (Val), Rhonda, son Dennis (Sheri), grandchildren, Dawn (Roy), Richard (Connie), Jody, Mandy (Larry), Carrie, and eight great-grandchildren. Fred is predeceased by his mother Marie Helene Paul, father Joseph Romain Joyal, two sons Larry and Randy Joyal. Fred enjoyed meeting people and sharing life stories with everyone he met. His most enjoyable memories were spent with family and friends. He loved spending time out at the cottage in Victoria Beach, enjoying nature and playing horseshoes. His hobbies included painting, woodworking, playing cribbage and bingo. Many friends and family will miss Fred greatly. Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within us, Forever in our hearts. Our sincere thanks to the staff at Misericordia Place for their loving care. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. W.
