JACQUELINE LEWIS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our beloved Mom and Nana, Jacquie on Friday, February 5, 2010 at the age of 70. Left to mourn her passing are her children Deborah Brethauer (Gary), Ken Storozuk (Charlene), Lynda Saunders (Paul), sister Flo Peel, and her grandchildren Nicholas, Adam, Curtis, Ben and Tom. Jacquie was born in Winnipeg and graduated from Miles Macdonell Collegiate. She enjoyed many wonderful summers throughout her life at Victoria Beach. She was an active member of the Anglican Church, especially at St. Stephens where she was a longtime member of Group 4 and the Handicrafters. Mom was deeply spiritual and loved to study scripture. Mom also loved to sew, play bridge, read, sing and dance. She was a talented seamstress and a gifted painter. The highlight of her life was her grandsons. Mom's love of dogs brought her great joy and comfort her entire life. A huge thanks to the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for their compassion, in particular especially nurse Wendy. Honourary pallbearers will be her son and five grandsons. Viewing will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with reception and interment to follow.
