BLANCHE DUPRAS (nee DESAUTELS) It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Blanche on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 88 years. Blanche leaves to mourn, her son Roland (Pat), her daughter Doris (Garth) Eastoe, grandchildren Carol (Jeff), Kenya and Richard, great- grandchildren Troy and Brett, sisters Jeannette, Irene (Richard), brother Maurice (Kathy), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene in 1987, her daughter Diane in infancy, her parents Ernest and Albertine Desautels, brothers Armand, Roland, Rene, Aime, and sister Germaine. The family wishes to thank our home care workers Evelyn, Fran, Debbie and Laura as well as the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Parish, 1007 St. Mary's Road. Burial will follow at the St. Vital Catholic Cemetery on River Road.
