MICHAEL J.L. WOODCOCK Mike passed away suddenly at home on February 8, 2010. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years Gerry, daughter Terry Golden (Bill Murray), sons Rod (Alana) and Tim (Arlene) as well as grandchildren Stevy Golden, Niky Blair (Travis), Riley and Taylor Woodcock. Dad spent his entire life in Winnipeg. He held many fond memories of his summers spent at West Hawk Lake from his early childhood and later with his own children. Dad lived life to the fullest and leaves many friends behind. He spent the majority of his working career at Investors Group, and after retirement had a very successful career as an artist showing his works at the Birchwood Gallery. He will be missed by his many friends at the Forum Art Institute as well as WoodcockCycleWorks. Dad as well touched many lives in his 37 years as a proud friend of Bill's . In keeping with Dad's wishes there will be no formal service. Friends may join us between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 12 at the Niakwa Country Club, 629 Niakwa Road a Light Lunch will be served. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mikes memory to Cancer Care Manitoba or The Forum Art Institute, care of Darryl, 120 Eugenie Street Winnipeg, MB R2H 0X7
