KIRK KEELER Peacefully, with his family at his side, Kirk Keeler passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Palliative Care Unit of the St. Boniface Hospital. Kirk was born on April 20, 1930 and was raised in Halifax, NS. He met his wife Shirley, of 57 years, in Montreal, PQ where they raised their two children Richard (Margret) and Deborah (David). His latter years were spent in Winnipeg with his loving grandchildren, Jennifer, Shaun, and Jessica, and his great-grandchildren Joshua, Darien, and Kaitlyn. Kirk will be missed terribly by his family. He loved to travel and cruise and visited many countries over his lifetime. Nothing made him happier than to sail on a new ship or to explore a new city. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). In lieu of flowers, please make donations to charities for cancer care and research. Special thanks go to all the wonderful people who helped him at CancerCare Manitoba and the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit. If family and friends so desire, they may sign our book of condolences at www.ebituaries.ca. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
