LEONARD S. ROLFSON (KUDD) 1920 - 2010 Peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2010 Leonard passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 89. Leonard was predeceased by his wife Maude in May 2007, whom he has missed every day since her passing. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Len (Patricia), Linda (Gord), Connie (Ray) Creaser; grandchildren Evan, Scott (Katherine), Erin (Danny), Adam, Megan (Trent), and Mallory (Derek) and great-grandchildren Noah and Owen. Dad was born in Raymond, Alberta and moved his family to Edmonton, then to Winnipeg in 1958, to oversee the construction of the track at the Assiniboia Downs. He continued to work for Borland until his retirement. Dad enjoyed curling, golfing and going to the Jets and Bombers games. He and mom enjoyed many vacations with friends. He loved his family and treasured every moment we spent together having barbeques and holiday dinners. He will be missed by the staff at the Metropolitan Kiwanis Court. Dad was loved and well respected by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Dr. R. Macek and the wonderful nurses who took care of Dad during his last days. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made in Leonard's memory to a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. with visitation one half hour prior to the service at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment and reception to follow.
