ROSE-MARIE SORIN (nee DUBE) Décédée le 10 février 2010, à l'Hôpital St-Pierre-Jolys (Manitoba), Rose-Marie Sorin (née Dubé) épouse de feu, Emile Sorin, agée de 75 ans, commence son voyage bien mérité vers son sauveur. Maman laisse dans le deuil ses dix enfants, Paul (Margaret), Jacques (Darlene), Marc, Louis (Linda), Jean (Nicole), Luc (Tracy), Rémi, Lucille (Hervé), Claire, Pierre (Sheri-Lee). Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil 15 petits-enfants et cinq arrières petits-enfants, ainsi que son frère, ses soeurs, sa belle-famille, neveux, nièces et amis. Maman fut précédé par ses parents, Elzéar et Aline Dubé (née Tremblay), beaux-parents, Jean et Marie-Thérèse Sorin (née Baudry), deux frères, une soeur, un beau-frère, et une belle-soeur. Maman est née à Leoville, SK, a grandit à Laventure, et a fait ses études poste-secondaire à Lorette, MB. Peu après avoir commencer sa carrière d'enseignante, elle rencontra papa. Ils se sont mariés et ils s'établissent sur une ferme à Ste-Agathe où ils ont élevé leur grande famille. Maman était une femme de foi et elle était dévouée à sa famille et sa communauté. La langue française et l'enseignement la passionait. Maman adorait cuisiner et partager les délices de sa cuisine et son jardin avec les gens d'alentour. Elle a touché beaucoup de gens avec son grand coeur. Les prières seront récitées à 14h le dimanche 14 février au Salon mortuaire Desjardins, 357, rue Des Meurons. Les prières auront lieu à 14h, suivi par la messe à 15h lundi le 15 février en l'église Sainte-Agathe avec le Père Alphonse Bongo, c.j. célébrant. La famille aimerait remercier le personnel de l'Hôpital St-Pierre-Jolys et de l'Hôpital Morris pour les bons soins à Maman et le soutient offert à la famille. Un merci spécial à l'abbé Marcel Chaput, Père Alphonse Bongo, c.j., et l'abbé Lionel Thibault pour leur présence priante. ROSE-MARIE SORIN (nee DUBE) Rose-Marie Sorin, widow of Emile Sorin, passed away gracefully at the age of 75 years on February 10, 2010 at the St. Pierre-Jolys Hospital (Manitoba). Mom leaves in mourning her ten children: Paul (Margaret), Jacques (Darlene), Marc, Louis (Linda), Jean (Nicole), Luc, (Tracy), Rémi, Lucille (Hervé), Claire, Pierre (Sheri-Lee). She also leaves in mourning 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a brother and four sisters as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Elzear and Aline Dubé (nee Tremblay), parents-in-law, Jean and Marie-Thérèse Sorin (nee Baudry), two brothers, a sister, as well as two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law. Mom was born on Leoville, SK, grew up in Laventure, and finished her post secondary in Lorette, MB. She met Dad shortly after beginning her teaching career. They married and raised their family on a farm near Ste. Agathe. Mom was a woman of faith. She was impassioned by the French language and teaching. She took great pleasure in cooking and shared with her family and her community. Prayers will be said at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Prayers will also take place at 2:00 p.m., followed by the mass at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15 in Ste. Agathe, MB with Father Alphonse Bongo, CJ officiating. The family wished to thank the doctors and staff at the St. Pierre-Jolys Hospital and Morris Hospital for taking care of Maman, and for the support they offered to our family.
