MARY T. FRIESEN Peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Grunthal Menno Home with her family by her side, Mary T. Friesen passed away at the age of 89 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Sylvia (Rudy) Warkentin, son Leonard (Betty) Friesen, son Larry (Evelyne) Friesen; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, brother Frank (Susan) Funk, sisters Helen Buhler, Sally Steingart, Anne Funk, sister-in-law Hilda Funk, two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Henry T. Friesen in 1998, her parents Peter R. and Sara Funk, two brothers, one sister, and numerous Friesen in-laws. The family would like to thank the staff at Menno Home for the great care given to our mother in the last four years. You are an awesome bunch. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Elim Mennonite Church in Grunthal with a private family burial at the Grunthal Cemetery. Viewing will be on Saturday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach.
