Her daughter Meg was with her. Born in Winnipeg, April 14, 1928, Sandy Saunders graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1949. A prairie girl at heart, Marianne lived in many places across the country: Calgary, Toronto, Winnipeg, Burlington and Vancouver, and always made friends wherever she lived. Among the many people who love Marianne are her three daughters: Marilyn, Meg, and Anne, and their partners Brian, Vince, and Julie; her grandchildren: Patrick, Matthew, Michelle, Daniel, Sarah and Anne, and friends tall Paul, Rani and Nicole. Marianne deeply loved her brother Ray, sister-in-law Marg, and her nephews and nieces: Kurt, Laura, Mike and Margie. The family would like to thank and celebrate the many people who provided Marianne with care and friendship over the past few years: Wilbour, Angela, Debbie, Annie, Deb, Lynn, Leighann, John V., Denise and John Albrecht. A gathering in her honour will be held at the Zucc's at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, followed by an open house in celebration of all the many things she loved: crosswords, Latin, playing the piano, reading, her garden, knitting, music, her grand dogs, dark chocolate, Oh Henry!, hot dogs and sauerkraut, football, swimming, and jujubes.
