MARIA ZAJDENBEUTEL On February 16, 2010, our dearly beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Maria passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 94 years. Maria will be sadly missed by her daughter Helena (Ignatius) Anyadike and son Borys (Jola); three grandchildren, Ewa, David and Kenneth and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Franko and Kyra. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 18 brothers and sisters. Maria was born in Kazminka, Russia, the eldest of 19 children. Life was a challenge in rural Russia and she had to fend for herself from a very young age. Her journey of life took her to four different countries - Russia, Poland, Israel and Canada. Throughout her life she worked hard at various jobs and raised her children to believe in the value of working hard and doing your best. Mom was totally devoted to her family and always did everything in her power to help, support, guide and surround with her love. Her handcrafted creations beautify our homes and will remain our treasures. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Kevin Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. She will be missed more than we can express. Her memory will live on in all of us.
