GORDON A. EBEL (CURLY) After a short illness with his family by his side, Gordon Ebel beloved husband of Helen passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, in the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 81 years. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his wife Helen; daughter Christine Ebel of Hamilton, ON; son Michael (Karla) Ebel of Portage la Prairie, MB; daughter Holly (Hugh) Hanly of Dunnville, ON; grandchildren Andrea Tait-Eros, Taelore, Kelsey and Mackenzie Hanly. A Memorial Service will be held at McKenzie United Church on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. led by Rev. Marg Scott. Interment will take place at a later date in Stratford, ON. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Gordon's memory to Manitoba Eastern Star Chalet, 525 Cathcart Street, Winnipeg, MB R3R 0S6 or Portage Animal Welfare Society Inc.
