GEOFFREY B. WARRENER December 18, 1931 - February 15, 2010 It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Geoffrey on Monday, February 15, 2010 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 78 years. Remaining to forever cherish Geoffrey's memory are his wife Joyce, of 54 years; daughter Sandra (Jim); grandson Jeffrey (the boy); brother Fred (Nancy) and family; sister Jean and family in Yorkshire, England as well as his family in Canada, Dennis (Jessie) and family, Alan (Villa) and family; brother-in-law Jim Wood and Joyce's family in Aberdeen, Scotland. Dad was born in Yorkshire, England December 18, 1931. He joined the army - Royal Signals when he was 18 and served in Korea during the Korean conflict. He was a free mason and a member of the Shrine Patrol (Captain). At Geoffrey's request no formal funeral service will be held. We wish to thank our family and friends for all their support during Geoffrey's illness. We would also like to thank Dr. Macek and the nursing staff at the Grace Hospital who looked after Dad with compassion and care as well as good friends Sherrolyn and Ron for their help during Dad's illness. Flowers are gratefully declined due to allergies. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Geoffrey's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. Dad will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
