DAVID FRIESEN Peacefully on February 18, 2010, surrounded by his family, David passed away at Grace General Hospital at the age of 77 years. Dave will be dearly missed by his wife Laura, his daughter Val and husband Tom Heide, his son Gary and wife Jodi Friesen and grand-children, Nicole and Daniel Heide, Kirby, Spencer and Jalacey Friesen. Dave is also survived by his family: Margaret Friesen, John and Mary Friesen, Nick and Annie Friesen, Anne Wiens, Luise Voth, Katie Friesen and Rudy and Frieda Friesen, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Dave was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anna Friesen and brother Peter Friesen. Dave grew up in Marquette. He married Laura in 1962 and raised his two children on the farm there. He farmed till he was 65, at which time he and Laura retired and moved to Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Schoenfelder Mennonite Church in Pigeon Lake, Manitoba with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Donations may be made in Dave's memory to Parkinson's Society of Manitoba. ...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
