ANNETTE ANNA GAGNON (nee Gobeil) Annette was born November 4, 1928 and passed away peacefully on February 20, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Emilienne Gobeil of South Junction, MB. Annette was the eldest daughter of 19 siblings. Annette and George started their life together in South Junction. They raised 12 children together and in 1969 they picked up their roots and moved the family to Sainte-Anne. She is survived by her children, Maria (Eugene) Johnson, Juliette (Wayne) McIlvride, Roland (Cindy), Denise, Lillian, Louise (Gary) Desrochers, Roger (Doris), Claire (Andre) Ragot, Paul (Angèle), Jeannette (Laurie) Bruce, Georgette (Daniel) Pilloud and Rose (Todd) Brooks; many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren. Annette was predeceased by her late husband George Gagnon in 1976. The family wishes to thank Sr. Rioux for all her support and prayers, the Villa Youville nursing staff and the doctors who took very special care of our mother. If friends and family wish, donations can be made to any charity of their choice. Soit en paix maman, Repose toi bien, Trouve papa. On vous aime et on vous manquera toujours. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with ash interment at a later date.
