MARGARET LILY LOREQUE (nee Eastveld) April 20, 1924 - February 18, 2010 Peacefully with her family by her side, the Lord Jesus came to take his daughter, Margaret home to be with her beloved husband Paul and daughter Lynn, who were waiting with open arms. Margaret leaves to carry her memory forward; children, Paul (Dee), Mark (Margaret), Maurene, and Lynda (Marty); grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Brett, Liberty, Sarai, Jessica, Brianna (Mike), Gabriel, Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Dimitri, Arik, Jalynd, Rowan, and Bryton. She is survived by brothers, Paul, Mark, Dan, and Jimmy; and sisters Beatrice, Bridgette, Rosemary, Gladys, and Patty. Margaret will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba as one of sixteen children to Bridgette and Willis Eastveld. It was in Winnipeg that she met and eventually married the love of her life Paul on July 10, 1943 and began the next chapter of her journey. She enjoyed a full life raising her five children while enjoying various careers. Margaret spent her latter years surrounded by the love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., in the St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street at Corydon Avenue. Interment will follow in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Pallbearers will be Messrs. Josh Gray, Marty Hofbauer, Dennis Poncik, Greg Ruhl, Prem Juren, and Ralph Gammelsetter. The family would like to thank the staff of Extendicare Tuxedo Villa, especially those on Station 3, A section for their care and compassion during Mom's stay there. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully ask that donations be made in Margaret's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society or D'Arcy's A R C.
