HENRY I. (H.I.) HOEPPNER On Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Tabor Home in Morden, MB, H.I. Hoeppner aged 91 years formerly of the Mountain City school district went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Elsie (nee Thiessen) of Morden; six daughters, Lydia and Norman Hildebrand of Morden, Laura and Ken Letkeman of Morden, Louise and Pete Peters of Morden, Pearl and Abe Thiessen of Austin, Irene and Ken Hildebrand of south of Morden, Carol and Art Letkeman of Morden; three sons, Henry and Anne Hoeppner of Morden, Isaac and Carol Hoeppner of Thornhill, Peter and Vicky Hoeppner of Morden; son-in-law, Jake (Betty) Hiebert of Morden; 43 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren; three sisters Susie and Annie Hoeppner, Margaret Sawatzky; as well as stepchildren, Jean and Todd Nickel of Okotoks, AB, Andrew Setter of Calgary, AB and Murray Setter of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his first wife, Annie (nee Sawatzky) in 1989; daughter, Betty Hiebert in 2006; two granddaughters, five sisters and three brothers. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Morden EMM Church, 610 1st St. with Morris Vincent and Vic Peters officiating. Interment to follow at Waldheim Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Henry's memory to either the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Box 119 Winkler, MB R6W 4A4 or to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan, 21 Leslie Dr. Morden, MB R6M 1P7.
