West Bend acknowledged Jack and Mary for top sales (1977) and were awarded an honourary plaque by the President of West Bend (Jim Duffield). In 1979, a new home was made in Victoria, BC when Jack retired; but he kept busy volunteering at Oak Bay Lounge, delivering Meals on Wheels, Lawn Bowling and both Mary and Jack were involved in the 1994 Commonwealth Games.
