ARCHIBALD MURPHY BRAWLEY 1933 - 2010 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Archibald Brawley, beloved husband to Catherine, on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 76 years. Left to cherish and mourn Archie are his wife Catherine, niece Catherine (John) Robertson, grandnieces Suzanne (Ruben) Peralta and Kayleigh Robertson and numerous family members in Scotland and Australia. Archie was born on April 10, 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland. He immigrated to Canada in 1965 where he was employed with Bristol Aerospace and Boeing Canada as a designer / draftsman. Archie and Catherine enjoyed the pursuit of golf for many years at Charleswood Golf Club, where many friendships were formed. He was also a member of the Charleswood Legion. Archie looked forward to the time spent with friends at numerous golf courses and attending social functions with his pals. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Grace Hospital for their time and compassion shown to Archie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Archie's memory to Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3R2. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
