BETTY REID (nee MARTIN) Peacefully on February 20, 2010, at the age of 87, Betty passed away. A loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend. Born in Jacksonville, NB to Annie and John Martin, Betty, known for her cooking skills, won the heart of Ken Reid and was married in 1946. She then moved to Arborg with Ken where she put her skills to use in operating Ken's Cafe for 13 years along with being a wonderful mother to Heather. Betty was a very caring and generous person who made sure that no one ever went hungry! Due to her wishes no funeral service will be held. Instead the family would love for you to join them in one last bite in celebration of Betty's life on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Arborg Assisted Living Centre, 341 Ingolfs St., Arborg, MB. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
