PETER ENNS January 16, 1925 - February 24, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Enns on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the age of 85. Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Anne of 62 years, his children, Elma Carson (Richard), Rosemary McDowell (Ken), Ron Enns (Joan) and his grandchildren, Julie (Cam), Stacy (Dave), Cory (Deann), Chad and Cameron as well as many nieces and nephews. Peter was born in Hanover Municipality, near Steinbach, and moved to Winnipeg with his family in 1953. For more than 40 years, he worked for Motor Coach Industries until his retirement in 1991 when he and Anne became Arizona snowbirds . His passions included golf, reading, history, travel and his five grandchildren. He was a gentle, patient soul who will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Mennonite Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg.
