GEORGE CLUETT On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, George entered into rest at the age of 89 years. George will be deeply missed by his family. He also leaves to mourn his passing, 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Gordon (Millie); numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ena in 1983; brothers, Leonard, Fred, Norman; sisters, Pearl and Norah. He was born and raised in Winnipeg, later serving overseas in England in the Canadian Army during the Second World War. He met and married Ena in England and they immigrated to Canada in 1952. Together they raised their three daughters, Jacqueline (Gary) MacFarlane, Denyse (Marshall) Quelch and Karen (David) Northcott in Dauphin, Manitoba and later in Winnipeg, Manitoba. On Saturday, February 27, 2010 a family Memorial Service will be held, with Interment in the Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7 or to Spinal Cord Research, University of Manitoba, 436 BMSB, 745 Bannatyne Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0J9.
