ANNE ISABEL DEVLIN (nee Hare) On Friday, February 26, 2010 Anne Isabel Devlin passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 74 years. Anne will be remembered and loved by her beloved children Scott (Wendy), Leigh (Wayne), Michael and Jennifer (Steve). The four of you were the wind beneath my wings and I loved you all so dearly, Love Mom. She will also be missed by her dear grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Braeden, Alexander, Jack, Madison, Justin, Jordan and Julianna, who she enjoyed being with and watching them grow as well as her sister Joan Pratt (Dick); sisters-in-law, Brenda Schmidt (Ken), Jean Webster (Stan), Anna Hodges; good friend, Marilyn Boychuck-Dallman; cousin, Alan Holley and many close nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mona and George B. Hare; brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Marylyn Hare, and daughter-in-law Marina Vitelli-Devlin. Born December 31, 1935, Anne lived the majority of her life in Winnipeg. After her children were in school she worked for over 20 years at the University of Manitoba at the Faculty of Architecture. Her favourite place in the world was at the family's summer cottage at West Hawk Lake in Moonlight Bay. Since her retirement she was able to spend four to five months of the year at the lake with her children and grandchildren. Anne's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. For those who wish, viewing will be held 30 minutes prior to Anne's service. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespeler Avenue, friends and family are welcome to attend. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Sharkey for the many years he looked after Mom so well.
