Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE GOWRYLUK (nee HUCULAK) Peacefully on February 25, 2010, with her family at her side, Anne Gowryluk entered into the presence of her Lord. Mom was born to parents William and Jennie Huculak in Lockport on December 27, 1921. On October 21, 1944, Mom married her soulmate, William T. Gowryluk. Mom and Dad then set about to populate Kirkness with seven sons. All of their efforts, in everything they did, was for the single purpose of making the lives of their sons and their families better, happier and more loving. Mom spent her adult life as a proud farmer's wife. She was devoted to the family with her love and support. Mom spent many hours in the garden, making sure that the crop was plentiful to feed her family. The garden harvest led to the canning of the abundant crop, which kept the family fed at all times. Her talent for preparing and cooking meals was legendary. On a moment's notice, Mom would prepare a feast fit for royalty, whether for family, relatives, or friends. But above all, Mom loved her husband, her sons, and their families. Mom devoted all of her time to ensure the well being of her family. Nowhere was this more evident than in the relationship with her grandchildren. All of the grandchildren looked forward to their visits with their Baba, with the special times and treats she would provide for them. Mom was predeceased by Dad, and her eldest son Ed. Mom was also predeceased by her parents, William and Jennie; her siblings, Nick, Lena, Mary, Alex, and Dorothy. She leaves to mourn Diane, Don and Doris, Glen and Helene, Bernie and Louise, Pat and Joy, Dave and Tony, Dale and Monica; her grandchildren Debbie (Mark), Janice, Trish (Andrew), Dane (Karen), Chelsea (Mike), Cara (Mike), Kristel (Rob), Devin, Jordan, Lindsay, Katie; her great-grandchildren Ally, Carter, Victoria, and Kennedy; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 3 at 10:30 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Anton Bouw officiating. Viewing prior to the service. Her sons will respectfully and proudly carry her to rest at the Ashfield Cemetery. Our family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the staff of Middlechurch Personal Care Home for their loving and compassionate care they provided throughout her stay. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Middlechurch Personal Care Home, 280 Balderstone Rd., West St. Paul MB, R4A 4A6. Goodbye my family, my life has passed, I loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me, but courage take, Always continue to love each other, For my sake, For those you love don't go away, They walk beside you every day. Rest in Peace, Mom.
