LORNA WILL 1910 - 2010 It is with great sadness and love we announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother, Lorna on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Oakview Place at the age of 99 years. Remaining to forever cherish Lorna's memory are her sister Maxine; brother Don in BC; daughter Beverley (Arthur); son Leslie (Clara); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by her parents; six siblings and one great-grandson. Mom was born in Buchanan, Saskatchewan on December 23, 1910. She went on to marry Dad (George Will) and they resided in Moose Jaw until their retirement at which time they moved to White Rock, British Columbia. Dad passed away in 1973. Several years later, mom met Roland Carter. They lived in Surrey and later Chilliwack until Roland's death in 2005. Mom then moved to Winnipeg to be closer to her daughter and family. For the past six months, due to ill health, she resided in Oakview Place. No formal funeral service will be held. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff on the second floor at Oakview Place for their gentle care and compassion to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's name may be made to Child Find Manitoba, 615 Academy Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3N 0E7.
