MARIE ANTOINETTE (CASEY) KERR Passed away peacefully at her home in Thousand Oaks, CA, surrounded by her loving family. Mother and mother-in-law of Christopher and Heidi Kerr, Pamela and Mark Gomez, and Kathleen and Bruce Smith and grandmother of Avery and Adrienne Kerr, Matthew and Casey Gomez, and Sean and Nicholas Smith. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence F. Kerr; her sister Monina Smith and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Buzz and Pat Casey, Philip Casey and Shirlee Lindsay. Survived by her brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Emilia Casey, her brother-in-law David E. Smith and her sister-in-law Joyce (Kerr) Lyon. Affectionately known as Larcy, Marie was born and raised in Winnipeg and attended St. Ignatius School and graduated from Sacred Heart Convent. She was the daughter of William C. and Antoinette (Marrin) Casey. After her marriage Larcy lived in New York State, Indianapolis and Seattle before settling in California. She worked for several financial institutions including the Bank of America in Malibu, CA, where she latterly became assistant manager. Larcy was fond of playing classical music on her piano and of tending her spacious garden. She was very attached to her many friends, but above all she loved and was devoted to her extended family. A memorial service will be held at our Lady of Malibu Church, Malibu, CA on March 20, 2010 at 12:00 noon.
