THERESA TRISKA (nee SAWCHUK) Peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2010, Theresa passed at her residence in Winnipeg in her 81st year from cancer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph; and her children Lorne (Geraldine) of Moose Jaw, Robert (Laura) of St. John's and Sherrill (Andrew) Moreau of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Tafline (Michael) Hazelwood, Daniel (Pamela), David (Trista), Donal (Cherene), Randolf and Oliver Moreau. Great grand-children, Deseree, Johnathan, Jordan, Jane, Amy, Meeka, Caleb, Colby, Calder, Kyren and Chet; sisters Josephine Novakowski and Marianne Maier. Prayers and viewing will be held on Friday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. and Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Father Mark Gnutel on Saturday, March 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, Grant Ave., and Harrow St. Reception will follow in the church hall with interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Theresa was born in Vegreville, Alberta. She was a career mother at home and the family is grateful for her loving attention. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to Holy Family Parish Fund.
