ELSBETH LINA MARIA REILLY (nee ORTMANN) Peacefully on March 4, 2010 with her family at her side, Liz passed away at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her son Robert Richard in 1960 and daughter Glenda Colleen in 1973. Left to cherish her memory are her children John Reilly (Darlene), Ricky Nocei (Mike), Andy Reilly (Wendy), Fern Wyspianski (Ron), Francie Reilly, JoJo Reilly (Kevin), Daniel Reilly, Timothy Reilly. Oma also leaves 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many special friends at Columbus Courts that she considered family. She was born in Germany December 22, 1933, and moved to Winnipeg in 1960. Mom was famous for cooking and baking and enjoyed doing so for everyone. Nobody left Mom's place without a bag of baked goods. Mom could also knit and crochet anything from a dish cloth to a New Year's Eve evening gown. She will be missed by many. Special Thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospice for the kind and compassionate care Mom had received. A service will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Columbus Courts, 253 Edgeland Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Manitoba Cancer Society.
