Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIE LANG It is with a great deal of sadness and grief that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Emilie Lang, with her family by her side, at Concordia Place Personal Care Home on Friday, March 5, 2010. Emilie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Wilhelm in 1996, as well as by her parents and six siblings over the years. She is survived by her loving children, Clare (Eric) and Victor; grandchildren, Debbie, Garry and Leslie; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Zoey and Sydney; numerous cousins and respective families. Emilie was born to William and Elizabeth Rehberg on September 30, 1917. Emilie and Wilhelm immigrated to Canada with their two children in 1949. Soon after arriving, Mom found employment as a seamstress and/or housekeeper before finally retiring around 1968. Emilie will be laid to rest beside her loving husband in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens following a funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to service. The family extends grateful thanks to all of the nurses and aides that took such good care of our mother in Concordia Place as she battled dementia for the last five years of her life. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donation may be made in Emilie's memory to a charity of your choice. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
