JOHN ANTHONY PATTS April 24, 1920 - March 5, 2010 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. John died peacefully on Friday, March 5, 2010 in the presence of his wife at his home, just short of his 90th birthday. Remaining to cherish John's memory are his loving wife Mary of 66 years; three children, Ed (Rae), Judy (Rick), Raymond; nine grand-children and nine great-grandchildren as well as sisters Eva, Olga, Martha and brother Raymond. He was predeceased by his infant son James; parents; brother Victor and sister Ann. John was a kind and gentle man and a good neighbour and friend to so many. On Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. John's Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street. A private family Inurnment will take place in Thomson In the Park Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6. John will go on living in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. He will remain in our hearts always.
