Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUSSELL BEAR January 11, 1935 - March 7, 2010 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Russell Bear of Peguis First Nation, on March 7, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Russell leaves to mourn his wife of 29 years, Edith; his children, Elaine (William), Steven (Roxanne), Rhonda (Darryl), William (Ann), Arlene (Lawrence), Wayne (Stacy) and Glen Murdock (Sharon); his grandchildren, Jared, Tyler, Liam, Layne, Janay, Jayden, Mason, Wyatt, Wyman, Gabriel, Shaneece, Trista, Alysse and William; his one great-grandchild Jada; his brothers, Max (Darlene) and Dougie (Melissa); his sisters, Shirley Stevenson, Mary Govereau, Doris Demure and Linda (Sherman); also numerous nieces and nephews. Russell was predeceased by his son, Claude Parisienne; his parents, Agnes and Gordon Bear; his brothers, Wally, Leslie, Lester and Oswald Bear. Russell loved his wife Edith, his children and his grandchildren dearly. He was always a kind and generous man. His door was always open to all and would always help anyone who was in need. Russell will be sadly missed by all. Wake services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Residence of Russell and Edith Bear, Peguis, MB and on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Both of these services will be held at the Peguis Church, Peguis, MB, Rev. Allan Sinclair and Jim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Boyang, Jerry Smith, Addie, Laverne, Jenny, Wayne and Stacy for all their love and support, as well as all the other family members who were there for us. Dad, I just wanna say thank you for walking me down the aisle on my wedding day and always acknowledging me when we seen each other, I felt that bond between daughter and father and no one can ever take that away. I know you loved me and Deb. We will see each other in God's heavenly place Dad. I love you so much and will keep your memory close to my heart.
