JACK OFFERMAN October 5, 1948 - March 7, 2010 Peacefully on March 7, 2010 with his family by his side, Jack passed away after a brave battle with cancer. Jack's memory will be forever cherished by his wife of 40 years Sheryl; daughters Tracey (Eric), Gerri-lynn (Brent); son Dean (D-Anne); grandchildren Tianna, Jazlyn and Little Jack. Jack will also be sadly missed by his mother Tuisa; brothers Irvin and Sam (Suzanne); and many more family members. Jack was predeceased by his father Nathan in May 1991. His joys in life were his grandchildren, cars, watches, road trips with Sheryl and walking his dog Lucy. Jack was very proud of his 26 years with Standard Aero and leaves behind many cherished friends and memories. Special thanks to Dr. Tsang for the ongoing care over the years and to Dr. J. D. Lezak and staff at the Seven Oaks Oncology clinic. A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made in Jack's memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, ON 109-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
