NORM GUZIAK 1942 - 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Norman Guziak on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre, with his family by his side after a battle of many illnesses. He is survived by his wife Eleanor, of 40 years, his son, Jason (Sandy) and grandchildren Stephanie and Devin, his daughter, Melanie and grandson Dustin, his dog Peanut (Killer), as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father John Guziak, mother Bernice and stepfather Frank Wasiluk. Norman worked at New Flyer from August 1992 to January 2006. He retired due to illness, but he still managed to run his business Norm Guziak Signs, which he had for many years. Norman was a unique one of a kind man, and will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at the West Kildonan Community Club, 346 Perth Ave. at Powers Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the staff of the I.C.U. for their support and kindness.
