GEORGE HENRY PEMBER Peacefully on Monday, March 8, 2010, George passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 77, with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Joan; ten children and their spouses; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, one brother and his wife. George was predeceased by his parents Carrie and George Pember. George served with the Canadian Navy in Nova Scotia as an Aeronautical Engineer. He returned to Winnipeg where he continued his career, as well as his other passion, automotive mechanics. George belonged to St. James Legion #4 for many years. The family would like to thank all who helped with George's care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in George's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Legion #4, 1755 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
