Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGILLES TROTTIER December 18, 1941 - March 10, 2010 It is with great sadness the family of Gilles Trottier announces his passing with his loving wife, Myrtle by his side on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 68. Left to cherish and mourn Gilles' memory are his wife Myrtle of 36 years; children, Bruce and Cherie, extended family members and friends. Gilles is predeceased by his parents, Marie and Leon Trottier, an older brother and his mother-in-law Mabel Homeyer. Gilles was born in Montreal and lived the last 40 years in Winnipeg. Gilles will be remembered for his love of bowling and attending Winnipeg Goldeyes' games. He enjoyed participating in the Goldeyes' Fan Club activities and the yearly trips to other ballparks. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses and staff of Health Sciences Centre 3D and 6H for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gilles' memory to Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
