THERESE (TERRY) BERNGARDS (nee LAVOIE) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terry on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Terry will be greatly missed by her husband of 54 years, Leonard Berngards; her four children, Guy (Terry), Vija (Mitch) Bonin, Lilija, Paul (Susan); her two grandchildren, Trista and Katiana, along with many relatives and friends. Terry was born in Winnipeg on January 5, 1932. She has been a member of Holy Cross Parish for over 30 years and has devoted much of her time as a co-coordinator for the food bank for a number of years. A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Terry's memory to Holy Cross Parish, 252 Dubuc St., Winnipeg, MB R2H 1E3.
