MARGARETTE (MARG) JOYAL (nee NOCK) On Tuesday, March 9, 2010, Marg died peacefully, surrounded by family at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 91 years. Marg will be dearly missed by her daughter Dene; granddaughter Melodie; daughter-in-law Patrice; and much loved extended Joyal family and many lifelong close friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harold; son Brad; and brother Lloyd Nock. A lifelong resident of St. Vital, she was an active member of Regents Park United Church, and member of the St. Vital Historical Society, avid gardener and sports fan. She enjoyed travel, bowling, music, movies and her many pets. Marg's greatest joy was welcoming and caring for family and friends both at the cottage at Grand Beach and in her home where everyone was always welcome. A celebration of Margarette's life will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Meadowood United Church, 1111 Dakota Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 0R3 or the charity of one's choice would make her smile.
