ANNE KALCSICS 1919 - 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our aunt and friend on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Anne was born the youngest of four children to Maria and Joseph Kalcsics. She was predeceased by her sister Mary in 1930, her brother Joseph in 1968 and her sister Helen in 1986. She leaves to mourn her passing, nieces, Helen (Leo) Cvitkovitch, Veronica Hutchinson and Madeline Polak and nephews, Doug (Hilda) and Glen Kalcsics, as well as great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Anne's whole working career was spent at Eaton's. She started in the mail order and later moved to the store on Portage Avenue. She loved her job and the wonderful friends she made during her 40 plus years there. Anne loved to travel. In her younger days, she made many trips to Europe, Hawaii and the U.S. and travelled Canada extensively. She always came home with many pictures, stories and souvenirs for all. She was an avid sports fan who never missed a Bomber, Goldeye or Moose game on TV or radio and could talk sports with the best. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road with Rev. Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Visitation will be prior to mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
