CHRISTOPHER ALLEN CHAMPAGNE With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son Christopher Allen Champagne, aged 18, in Winnipeg, MB on March 11, 2010. Christopher was born October 21, 1991 at St. Boniface Hospital. Christopher is survived by his parents, Randy and Lee Anna Champagne, (biological mother Sonia Lambert (Champagne) of Quebec); three siblings, Tanya Friesen (25), Crystal Champagne (19) and Justin Champagne (16). He is also survived by his paternal grandfather Les Champagne, step-grandmother Tina Champagne, two nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Christopher was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Jayne C. White on March 25, 2005, paternal grandmother Margaret Champagne on October 5, 2008, and his Uncle William Billy Champagne in 2000. Also left to mourn his passing is his loving girlfriend of three years, Miss Claudine Sumner of Winnipeg, members of her family and many mutual friends. We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Christopher on Monday, March 15 from 7:00 p.m. till 11:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A memorial service will take place Tuesday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach, MB, with reception to follow.
