Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHAN U. GINTHER Johan Ginther, of Grunthal Menno Home formerly of Steinbach, passed away March 12, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Dad leaves to cherish his memories eight sons: Jake (Elsie), George (Nancy), Edward (Bonnie), all of Winnipeg, John (Tina), Willy (Helen), Erdman (Wendy) all of Steinbach, Martin (Marie) of Alberta, Diedrich (Tina) of Paraguay, daughters: Helen, Elsie (Henry), Tina (Abe), Maria (Jacob), all of Steinbach, 32 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren. Also surviving him are two brothers and one sister all of Bolivia. Dad was predeceased by his wife Katharina on April 12, 1996 and one daughter-in-law in 1992. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover St., Steinbach, with Pastor Richard Martens officiating. Viewing will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach and at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at the Rosengard Cemetery. Pallbearers are his sons Jake, John, Martin, George, Willy, Erdman and Edward.
