WALTER HRYMAK May 5, 1912 - March 11, 2010 Beloved father and grandfather, Walter passed away at the age of 97 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Walter was predeceased by his beloved wife Pauline of 65 years. Leaving to cherish his memory are his son Walter Gordon Hrymak of Edmonton and grandchildren, David, Kevin, Shane, Stacey, Ryan, Jordan, Suzana and Gabriel; daughter Darlene, son-in-law Arnold, and grandchildren, Mark and Guy Kolaski. Walter was born in the Ukraine, immigrating to Canada at 17 years of age. He joined the Royal Canadian Artillery in 1943. He was stationed in Halifax until 1946, after which time he began work at CN Rail where he remained employed until retirement. The family would like to thank the many wonderful nurses and staff from Home Care, Grace General Hospital, Misericordia Interim Care, Seven Oaks General Hospital and Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg for their wonderful service, support and kindness. The family would also like to extend special thanks to Dr. Moncek of Seven Oaks and social workers, Betty at the Misericordia and Anthony at the Grace. According to Walter's wishes, he will be cremated followed by a graveside service with the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
