DAVID DAVID SR. March 19, 1918 - March 16, 2010 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his parents, Fernando and Agripina David; wife Eusebia Valmonte David; and brother Josue. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Elenita (Roger) Carabeo, Romualdo (Teresita), Carlos (Tessie) from Los Angeles, David Jr. (Vivian), Ricardo (Lily) and Antonio (Marites); his sisters-in-law Elisa V. Juan and Trophy Castillo from Los Angeles, Perfecta Ramos, Ofelia (Paquito) Juan and Gloria Valmonte of Winnipeg; his nephews and nieces of Winnipeg, Los Angeles, and the Philippines who provided their love and support until he joined our Heavenly Father; grandchildren, Randy, Riza (Mike), Francis, Christopher, Jeannette from Los Angeles, Erickson (Jaden), Marjorie, Alpha (Eddie), Marvin, Millan, Mark and Toni Mari; great-grandchildren from Winnipeg, Paige, Emma, Akira, Justin and Neko from California. David was born in San Miguel, Bulacan and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1979. He enjoyed gardening, riding the transit bus, horse track racing and sitting out in the sun. The family would like to thank the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital; Dr. S. Armstrong and Dr. P. Patel for their services and support. Lamay to be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19 commencing at 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Prayers will be held both evenings. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St. with Father Richard Arenault officiating. Interment will be at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB. A reception will follow immediately after the interment. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
